Two critical supplies

A UK construction company required backup generation for two separate critical systems. The equipment needed to fit the existing site arrangement while meeting operational and fire-safety requirements.

Generation and fuel storage

• Four diesel generators, each rated at 250kVA.

Bespoke engineering

YorPower manufactured custom fire-valve mountings to suit the fire-safety specification. Purpose-built link boxes provided the required connections between the power systems. These components were developed alongside the main equipment so the package would integrate with the customer’s installation.

Delivery and installation

Once prepared for dispatch, the four generators and two tanks were delivered to the agreed site. The project team unloaded and installed the equipment. The resulting arrangement supplies standby capacity to the two critical systems, helping maintain operations during failures of the normal electrical supply.
