Supporting Renewable Energy Projects in Angola

Angolan infrastructure programme

Dints, a London-based procurement and logistics integrator, ordered generators for infrastructure and renewable-energy projects in Angola. Perkins-powered YTP and YQP sets were recommended for availability, short lead times and local parts support; the customer had not prescribed an engine brand.

Specified 62-unit batch

  • 14 × YQP15RSC; 10 × YTP20RSC.
  • 4 × YTP60RSC; 14 × YTP100RSC.
  • 14 × YTP150RSC; 6 × YTP250RSC.

Immediate stock collection

A separate collection record lists 12 available units: two YTP60RSC, nine YTP100RSC and one YTP150RSC. Dints arranged its own transport. These figures describe the stated batch and collection arrangements; they should not be combined into an assumed delivery total.

Application and scope

The customer confirmed infrastructure and renewable-energy uses, without disclosing full end-use details. Solar or hybrid applications were discussed as possibilities. Supply covered standard generators only: optional extras, installation, commissioning, servicing and spare parts were excluded.
