Repeat order and deadline

A commercial customer in Scotland urgently required two further 150kVA generators. The business had bought the same model within the previous six months and returned on the strength of that operating experience.

Equipment

• Two YXP150RS generators, each rated at 150kVA.
• Perkins engines.
• Both units available from existing stock.

Preparation and delivery

After the order was confirmed, the sets received a full pre-delivery inspection. Stock availability and coordinated logistics allowed both generators to reach the customer approximately two weeks after the initial enquiry.

Scope of supply

This was a straightforward equipment-supply order. It did not require installation, commissioning, ongoing servicing, spare parts or complex customisation. Avoiding additional engineering and manufacturing stages kept the delivery process short while retaining the inspection checks needed before release.
