A property developer in Berkshire required commercial standby power as part of an electrical infrastructure project. YorPower worked through an electrical-solutions partner previously supported on developments across the Midlands.

Generator and switching

• Cummins C110 generator, rated at 100kVA.
• Five automatic transfer switches.
• Bespoke switching build with a single-line bypass for life-safety requirements.
• Twelve months of generator service cover included.

Design priorities

The equipment was selected for dependable commercial standby duty. The changeover arrangement addressed the project’s critical switching requirements and continuity of supply, including the needs of life-safety systems.

Delivery and aftercare

The generator had been delivered and the bespoke ATS arrangement supplied. Installation and commissioning were scheduled over the following months when the case study was recorded. The agreed maintenance package extends support beyond equipment supply into the first year of service.
