A new Malawi reseller required standby packages for a nationwide bank. Typical branch loads included approximately eight air-conditioning units and 10–15 computers, making equipment capacity and automatic changeover important.

Equipment supplied

• Four YTP30RSC diesel generators, rated at 30kVA each.
• Four automatic transfer switches, each rated at 100A.
• Generators and switching panels available from stock.

Selection and shipment

The selected sets matched the stated branch loads, while the ATS panels provided automatic transfer between utility and generator supplies. Stock availability allowed early dispatch. The equipment was securely packed into a 20-foot container and shipped to Blantyre.

Installation outcome

The generators and switches were subsequently put in place to provide branch backup. The reseller and bank reported satisfaction with the equipment quality. The project established a new reseller relationship while supplying the bank with locally deployed packages for continuity of branch operations.
