3.5MVA Generator Solution for Maternity Hospital in Asia

Hospital requirements

A new maternity hospital in Asia required a substantial power package for essential healthcare services. Company representatives and government officials visited YorPower headquarters to review the specification and coordinate the project.

Generation package

• Three enclosed YTP1000RSC generators, each rated at 1000kVA prime.
• One enclosed YTP500RSC generator rated at 500kVA prime.
• Total prime capacity: 3.5MVA, equivalent to 2.8MW at 0.8 power factor.
• Perkins engines, Leroy-Somer alternators and DSE7320 controllers throughout.
• Battery chargers and engine-water heaters supplied with the equipment.

Inspection and export

Bureau Veritas independently inspected the generators before dispatch to check the package against the project requirements. International delivery was prepared using three 40-foot shipping containers. The assignment combined equipment specification, meetings with stakeholders, third-party inspection and coordinated export logistics to supply the hospital with its required generation capacity.
