Weatherhaven (Indian Ocean)

Island shelter programme

Weatherhaven Global Solutions requested a quotation and delivery plan for power equipment serving an island in the Indian Ocean. The customer designs and implements military, medical and commercial shelter and camp systems, including mining and construction facilities.

Equipment supplied

• Two Perkins-powered generators, each rated at 60kVA.
• Two battery chargers.
• Six additional sockets.
• Two road trailers for moving the sets after arrival.

Application and logistics

The generators support rapid-deployment shelters manufactured and installed by Weatherhaven. Those facilities can accommodate kitchens, dry-goods stores, mobile hospitals and other camp services. The complete equipment package was shipped in a container to the island. YorPower’s contribution covered generator supply and delivery, with trailers included to make local transport practical.
