Water Supply & Sanitation Project in Sri Lanka – Phase 1

Kilinochchi water infrastructure

An existing Sri Lankan customer needed standby generation for a water-supply and sanitation scheme in Kilinochchi. Local power instability made continuity of these community services a central requirement.

Phase-one equipment

  • Three YTP80RSC generators.
  • Two YTP100RSC generators.
  • One YTP165RSC generator.
  • Enlarged fuel tanks for extended running periods.
  • Four-pole breakers to satisfy the electrical specification.

Engineering and delivery

The export-sales team managed the enquiry through delivery. In-house engineers worked with the customer to determine the required modifications and prepare the six bespoke sets. The delivered equipment supports the scheme during power interruptions.

Planned second phase

When the project was documented, a further supply was planned for late April: two 915kVA generators and one 400kVA set. This describes the planned follow-on scope rather than confirmation that the second phase has since been delivered.
